Soul of my feet in the street, skeet skeet (I’m out of title ideas)

Usually Im the go-to girl for everyones music needs but while talking to my friend Phil about my new obsession with blues-rock/funk/soul music and Gary Clark Jr.s newest E.P., he urged me to check out another band, Hot Bodies in Motion.
If a donkey was to suddenly rear up on its front legs and performing a handstand while laser-blasting rainbows made of nutella and avocados out of its stomach while plate spinning with its hind legs, it would create the same reaction I had when I heard Old Habits, the title track off of their first album. I made this face. While the entire album played in the background.
Now, the indie soul/funk/blues genre isnt something new. The Black Keys basically stirred the genre themselves a few years ago and bands have since continuously experimented in the deep waters of soul and sexy guitar riffs, but Hot Bodies in Motion pulls whats new in the indie genre and what has always been so right about soul into what they call baby-makin mammal funk, laced with old-school blues roots.
Yep, thats about right.
Plus, if there was ever a way to make me love pizza more, their music video does it, making pizza-making look sexy and leaving me praying that a good pie wont leave me vengeful and bloodlust.
Ill never look at green peppers the same way again.
